The LHEF provides all the

materials and equipment.

Living History is a cross-curriculum approach to teaching and it is suitable for

both elementary and secondary level teachers and administrators. A variety of disciplines are
involved: history, English, math, music, language arts, technology, special education, library
science, and home & careers.
Courses meet the C3 Framework and the Common Core State Standards for Social Studies / ELA.
The LHEF maintains a system of Living History Supply Depots across the state which contains
uniforms, equipment, tents, etc. for the use of teachers trained in the Living History approach.
There are 30 depots statewide.
