The!use!of!prompting!questions!worked!well!in!reminding!the!students!of!the!
expectations!for!what!good!readers!do.!
The!T!sign!for!toilet!ensures!there!are!no!interruptions!and!the!lesson!runs!
smoothly.!
The!various!activities!were!engaging!and!adheres!to!the!Daily!Five!including!
listening!posts!using!iPods,!reading!to!someone!else!in!pairs!or!groups!of!three,!
reading!to!self,!reading!online!and!strategy!based!groups!that!are!focused!guided!
by!the!teacher.!
The!book!bags!for!personal!libraries!works!for!fluidity,!variety!and!personalised!
learning!as!well!as!the!bookshelf!when!empty.!
Bell!ringer!gently!reminds!students!to!stay!on!task!without!positive!or!negative!
feedback!alike!!opens!up!for!independence!and!ownership!of!their!choices.!

The!instant!feedback!reading!aloud!was!really!valuable!for!the!children,!and!
likewise!the!record!keeping!of!that.!
Child!felt!safe!to!answer!questions!without!pressure.!
Time!was!given!for!thinking,!especially!as!the!lack!of!dinosaur!prior!knowledge!
inhibited!their!answers.!

Its!really!good!to!see!what!level!3!is!trialling!and!working!out!the!kinks.!Perhaps!raising!
expectations!will!assist!with!your!growth!in!student!behaviour!management,!or!even!
some!sort!of!rewards!chart.!Your!assessment!record!was!great,!I!was!really!impressed!!
