My community service is about give in back what I have learnt to others.

The name of the

institution is Waltham Adult Education center. It is located at 75 Waltham park road. This center
is to facilitate slow learner (age 18 & up). It also offer CESC class in the area of Mathematic,
English language, Social Studies .This center was develop around the year 2012. It has a
population of 35 students and still counting. The objective of this Education center is to educate
those who have difficulty with basic knowledge that can help them to get job in society. It
accommodates high school students who need help in the subjects that I mention earlier.
Generally, this agency seeks to tackle literacy among young adult.
According to the vision 2030 goal I have selected in my pervious refection which is the first goal
(A healthy and stable population). This goal challenges include poor performance of learners,
especially boys, at different level of the education system; the need for better-trained education
personnel; inadequate parenting; insufficient attention to positive values such as truthfulness and
respect for each other and inadequate support for the vulnerable in the society. The objectives I
aim to fulfill is as it related to goal number 1 is to provide the basic knowledge to the students at
the centre so that they can earn a substantial living so that they can contribute to the development
of good quality working force which can indeed boost the country economic by providing good
quality product on the international market. From my perceptive the first goal aims to reduce
illiteracy level among Jamaican by providing the best quality education The second objective I
aim to fulfill is encourage other slow learns come to the center so that they can empower
themselves.
The first steps I would take to accomplish these goals are motivation. Indeed I would motivate
the students at the centre empower themselves thought education. Secondly, be patient.
