General Summary of fiscal year

In BBEELLLL Corporation, we can say that we are a successful company. We have our
business in two countries; Venezuela and South Africa. At first, we only had the business in
Valencia, Venezuela, which is from the rich uncle. We had 3 stores, one factory, and an office. After
that, we have planned to open more subdivisions, and sell news kinds of products. Then we
achieved our plans. We opened our business in Johannesburg, South Africa. Weve got one store
selling textile products, one office, and a warehouse to store the unsold clothes. We also closed
the sausages factory since it caused us big losses.!

In every store under our company, we have been trying to buy the products at low prime
cost, and then sell them at higher price. The problems that our company met very often were when
we aimed to buy the products at low price with high quality, the supplier usually limit the quantity of
purchasing. Sometimes they didnt have enough products to sell to all buyers because every other
company wants to buy the product with high quality and low price too. Another problem we
confronted was the supplier changed their price and then out contract would be automatically
cancelled. Sometimes when the city average price of some products went up, and we didnt notice
that, we lost out opportunity to sell our products at higher price.!

In the solution from these problems, we changed our purchasing strategy. We purchase our
products mostly from the reliable supplier that had lots of products in the stock, in order to keep the
products quantity stable, and we have found out that they dont change the price often because
they sell to many companies. We also checked the average price and then compare with our
companys price more often, this makes our company avoid losing the opportunity.!

The strategies are to purchase only few number of the products first, then we observed
which products people buy the most, then we started to increase the order volume of that product.
If we see that the customers start to decrease, we will decrease the order volume in order not to
lose lots of money without getting worthy income. Our plan on the next year is basically to expand
our business to other countries that have medium to low taxes with high population and wealth
rate. We found that this kind of countries would make us get most profit.!

Summary Profits/Losses

During the last fiscal year, the main profit in our company was from the retail stores in both
countries. In the first quarter, the sausages factory from the rich uncle caused us losses because
our employees couldnt manage the store well since its the first quarter of the year. In the second
quarter, we closed the sausages factory to avoid losses. Even though we closed the factory, our
profit went down a bit from the first quarter. As well as quarter 2, quarter 3s profit decreased. Thus,
we solved that problem in the fourth quarter. We managed our business in new way and we also
open the business in new country and invested in a big amount which provided us lots of profit in
the return.!
Got big losses from the sausages factory in the first quarter of the year.!
Big expenses in purchasing products.!
After opening a new retail store in South Africa, we got big profit in the first week. Our
business in South Africa went very well.!
Big amount of salary has to be paid because we hire qualified employees.!
