Fraction Bingo Project

Fraction Poster
Create a poster that teaches how
to add and subtract fractions with
like denominators. Be sure to
include illustrations, model, and
directions. The poster must be neat,
detailed, and attractive.

Cookie Recipe
You will need to make chocolate chip
cookies using the following recipe for a
party:

1 cups sugar
6/8 cup of butter
1 1/3 cups brown sugar
teaspoon baking soda
2 4/7 cups chocolate chips
3 eggs
teaspoon salt

Youve just found out that twice as


many people will be coming to the
party than you thought. Rewrite the
recipe to serve twice the amount of
people.

Funny Story
Write a humorous story about a
magical creature that keeps adding
fractions. Be sure to include the
actual fraction equations in your
story.

Real-Life Fractions
Brainstorm ten real-life situations in
which you might have to multiply a
fraction by a whole number. Make
your list neat and attractive. You
may write or type your list.

Word Problems
Write or type 10 word problems
that involve subtraction with mixed
numbers. Be sure to include an
illustration or clip art and an
equation for every problem.
Attach the answer key on the back.

Create a fraction puzzle worksheet

Question: __ + __ + __ = 3

Fraction Guide
Create a guide called How to Find
a Common Denominator to share
with your classmates. You can
make your guide on paper,
PowerPoint, Word, Creative Book
Builder, or Publisher. Be sure to
include illustrations, models,
directions, and humor to the guide
to make it
interesting.
