leader. She helped lead the African-American civil rights movement in
the 1960s. Coretta was born on April 27, 1927 in Heiberger,AL. She
died on January 20, 2006 in Rosarito Beach, Mexico. She was married to
Martin Luther King Jr. through 1953-1968. She also had 4 kids, their
names were Dexter Scott King, Martin Luther King Jr. iii, Yolanda King,
and Bernice King.
