TASK
To work with Animals Trustees of Austin in order to
raise awareness of pet medical costs. We plan to host
a supply drive and to raise money for ATA. We hope
that this provides ATA with the needed resources to
better treat animals and keep medical expenses
affordable.

COLLABORATORS
Animal Trustees of Austin: their mission is to provide affordable
pet care to pet owners in Central Texas. For 20 years Animal
Trustees of Austin has provided safe, compassionate and
affordable treatment for animals regardless of their owners
income. With their programs such as 4PAWS, (for people and
animals without shelter), they are able to provide free pet care
to the pets of the homeless.
PAWS Of Austin: (Protection for Animal Welfare Services) is a nonprofit animal rescue organization established in Austin for the
purpose of providing refuge to stray and unwanted companion
animals. PAWS breed expertise is Great Danes. They advocate
against animal cruelty through education, example, and
providing care and shelter for homeless animals.

DONATION DRIVE
Plan: Have a Donation drive asking for donations listed
on ATAs website.
Pros: easy to donate to, ATA benefits by receiving items
that are needed, located at school for all students,
people who donate get service points
Cons: Not hands on, no guarantee of enough supplies
Audience: All Austin High students and faculty
How to inform: KAHS announcement, Flyers, emails

DOG T-SHIRT DRIVE


Plan: Design an Austin High dog T-shirt and sell them at
school and off campus and donate all the proceeds to
ATA
Pros: Hasnt been done before, Dogs look really cute in
shirts, cost to make is less, AHS dog shirts will be
easier to sell at school
Cons: might not sell as much, smaller audience for selling
Audience: All Austin High School pet owners, pet owners
at ATA
How to Inform: Emails, flyers, Pre-orders, announce to
classrooms, display them at ATA

DOG & PEOPLE T-SHIRT


DRIVE
Plan: Sell matching Dog and People T-shirts, and donate
the all the money to ATA
Pros: Larger audience for selling, T-shirts are easy to
sell at AHS,
Cons: T shirts are always done, Outside of AHS might
not sell well because it has AHS logo
Audience: All students and faculty at Austin High
School, everyone at ATA
How to Inform: Emails, flyers, Pre-orders, announce to
classrooms, display them at ATA

OUR PLAN

We have decided to do a
donation drive and to sell dog
shirts on and off campus, then
donating all the proceeds to ATA.
Dog shirts will be sold at Austin
High school, and ATA for dogs
and cats to wear. The donation
drive will be held at Austin High
school for 2 weeks and we will
be asking for items that ATA has
requested, in return people
donating will receive service
points.
