Alzheimers and the Black Community What does our history have to do with it?
In continued celebration of Black History Month Canaan Baptist Church will
host a panel discussion and presentation on Alzheimers in the Black Community. African-Americans are twice as likely as whites to have Alzheimers or another dementia and less likely to have a diagnosis. Come out to the panel discussion to learn more about it. The discussion will cover topics such as Caregiving, Your Brain and Alzheimers, and Are you affairs in order? Registration is required for this event. Please call 800.272.3900 or email Sharon.jarnette@alz.org. A continental breakfast will be served. Please come out on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 8:30 am.
