Reflection
(Minimum of 3-4 sentences per question)

1. Briefly describe the field experience.

What did you learn about technology
facilitation and leadership from
completing this field experience?

This field experience required me to

examine assistive technology more
closely. I learned how I can use
assistive technology in the classroom
to help better a student learning and
understanding. It showed me that
assistive technology is not always
fancy new technologies that are hard
to use but could be a simple as a
calculator.

2. How did this learning relate to the

knowledge (what must you know),
skills (what must you be able to do)
and dispositions (attitudes, beliefs,
enthusiasm) required of a technology
facilitator or technology leader?
(Refer to the standards you selected in
Part I. Use the language of the PSC
standards in your answer and reflect
on all 3knowledge, skills, and
dispositions.)
I think this module related very closely
with all of the skills, knowledge, and
attitudes that I need to have towards
technology and students who use it to
better their classroom abilities. I looked
at what assistive technologies are and
how to use them. I learned new ways to
assess whether a student needs an
assistive technology and who should be
in charge of making sure that they are
being taken care of.

3. Describe how this field experience
impacted school improvement, faculty
development or student learning at
your school. How can the impact be
assessed?
This activity helped improve my ability
to assess a students need for assistive
technology. It helped the student do
better in class. Hopefully, I can use
these skills and help other staff members
at my school
