Dear 5 Star Child Care,
I am applying for the position of a long term professional child care worker
at the 5 Star Preschool, and its sister site which serves infants through
two years. I am very interested in the opening for the infant center.
I have had a tremendous amount of experience with child care. Ive
worked with children in a small church group, babysitting, through
internships, and I also attend Stafford Technical Centers Human Services
program where Ive had the opportunity to teach in the pre-school
program that Stafford operates. It has prepared me with knowledge and
hands on experience with how to work safely, creatively, and use critical
thinking skills. They have also let me know that this is the type of work I
really want for my future career.
This experience has given me some practical knowledge of the world of
work and I have acquired good time management and organizational
skills. I believe I am qualified to take on the challenges of this position as
I have the desire, energy, education and training that would make me an
asset to your workforce. Im always egar to learn new things and although
I seem shy at first I catch on very quickly.
