1. The beam cross sections shown below all have a width, b = 16 and a height, h = 26.
Beams A, B, and C are tension controlled, transition controlled, and compression
controlled, respectively. Each beam has a compressive strength, fc = 5000 psi, a 1
in. clear cover around the stirrups, and 1 in. clear spacing between layers. Calculate
the following for each beam and record in the table on the following page.
