For the progress
monitoring plan that
we will be meeting
with Mr. Bryant
about next week we
plan to monitor
sight words. We are
planning to monitor
the students who
were red (non
proficient) on the
composite score for
the fall.

ELA
Once students have
tested 3
consecutive times
at or above

How can we extend and

students who have

Math

ELA
We will meet as a
team and try a new
intervention
strategy (to be
determined after
several data points)

ELA
We have discussed
2 options for
students who have
already mastered
all 200 first grade
sight words, we can
either go on to the
first hundred 2nd
grade words or
have our students
work on the Fry
word phrases. We
have very few
students who this
pertains to. We plan
to start working with
the next hundred
words first and may
use the phrases as
a literacy station for
some students.

Misc. Notes: For our meeting next Wed. our plan is to have sight words be the focus, the intervention
days will be Mon, Tues, Thurs, Friday and we will progress monitor on Wednesdays. The plan is to
possibly use a sight word book and work on one word each day, then review the words weve already
worked on each time we come together.
