One of most significant infrastructure projects ever undertaken in the UK,


Crossrail is making history. Were also uncovering it. Crossrail will result in the
largest archaeological programme ever undertaken in the UK, and represents a
significant opportunity to increase knowledge about Londons history. And, as
you work with the latest technology and innovative techniques, its an
opportunity to grow your knowledge too.
The Role
Crossrail is creating a transport legacy for London with over 200 million passengers expected to
use the 38 stations along the route every year, each with distinctive world-class design, easy to
navigate and built to last. Reporting to the Chief Engineer, you will provide
professional leadership for stations across the programme ensuring the delivery of designs that
meet the needs of passengers, are cost effective and built to last.
The Person

An architect, structural or building services engineer by profession, with substantial


experience of design leadership of rail stations or major transport interchange schemes.

Broad knowledge of design and development of civil engineering infrastructure in an


urban environment with the interaction between architecture, building services and
engineering.

Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work effectively in a multidisciplined project team managing consultants, staff and several stakeholders.
