    A small town in southern Germany called Fussen is home to two castles - Neuschwanstein Castle and Hohenschwangau Castle. Neuschwanstein Castle was built in the late 1800s by King Ludwig II and took inspiration from German legends and Richard Wagner's operas. It also served as the inspiration for Disney's Sleeping Beauty Castle. Hohenschwangau Castle is the childhood home of King Ludwig II and is known as the Castle of High Swan Country.
