Itisveryclearbyobservingthepiechartsthattheamountofpeoplethatrespondedyesdecreasesoverthe
threeweeks.Period4haslowervaluescomparedtoPeriods1and2.Although,moststudentsfromPeriod4didnotfill
outaresponsewhatsoeverinWeeks3and4.Itisimportanttorecognizehowmanystudentsdidnotfillinthechart
witharesponseeachweekinordertounderstandthedata.Thisisjustonefactorthatcouldaffectthedata.Ourdatais
veryconfusingsincewearedealingwithatimeframeaswellastwodifferentvariables.Eventhoughthedatais
quantitative,apiechartwasusedbecauseofthedifficultyofcomprehendingthedata.Thethoughtwasthatapiechart
couldeasilydemonstratewhichclasshadthemostamountofyesresponsesforeachweekandeachvariable.Itwas
hardtofigureouthowwecoulddisplaythisdatawithahistogram.Welatercreatedboxplotstocomparethefive
numbersummariesofeachgroup.Itisnoticeablewiththeboxplotsthatthemedianislowerandthemaximumis
usuallyaveryskewednumber.Onethingthatisverynoticeablewiththechartsisthedifferenceinnumbersbetween
NutritionandActivity.Itseemsthatmoresstudentscompletedtherequiredamountofphysicalactivityoverthe
requirementforreachingnutritionalgoals.
