Henderson/Milito Scholarship
In 2009, the families of James Dude
Henderson and Mike Milito endowed the
CFAA with money to establish a $1,000.00
annual scholarship to be given to a senior
football player who is an impact player on
the field and has the highest GPA on the
team at graduation.
Mike Milito was also on the 1971 WPIAL Championship Team..he was the
senior Captain, the leader of the team. He won the Teams Iron Man award
today that might not mean a lot..but if you played football in 1971 for Dick
Dilts and Frank Moreait was the highest honor you could receive. It was
given to the hardest working most dedicated athlete who played through
pain and sacrificed all for the Team. There are very few Mike Militos in todays
sports. Mike was ALL-Conference, Big 33, graduated and attended Slippery Rock
University where he was a member of 2 more Championship Teams in 1974 &
1976 and was again the Captain of the 1976 Team. Mike Milito was the low key
teammate that led by example..the teammate you wanted to play with.
