BOTH SIDES NOW

Cable Scarf
For the adventurous beginner. You should know how to cast on, knit, purl
and bind off. This scarf is a great introduction to knitting cables. It is truly
a reversible scarf that looks good on both sides.

Cable 6 Front (C6F):

For this project there will only be one
direction for all the cables. They will appear
to cross to the left.
To C6F: Slip 3 stitches onto cable needle, and
position the cable needle in front. Knit 3
stitches. Then knit 3 from cable needle.

Weave in all ends with yarn needle or

crochet hook.
The suggested blocking for this scarf:
First, a gentle hand-washing in cold water.
Gently blot by rolling in a towel.
Then, spread out into a nice straight
rectangle shape on top of towels.
Dont be afraid to periodically use your
hands to push the cables a bit to keep them
a little lofty, yet maintain the rectangle
shape. It will take a day or two to dry.
I hope that you enjoy wearing your scarf!
