Career and Technical Education, also known as CTE, is the future of education for aspiring
students to be prepared for the careers for tomorrow. Without CTE, students go to conventional
high schools with the need for further education to be ready for careers. With CTE, students can
spend less time and money in higher education, and be able to go into careers in medicine,
technology, and business to name a few.
This is made possible by the people who support NACTE, also known as the Nevada Association
of Career and Technical Education, also known as NACTE. NACTE is a chartered organization
of ACTE, also known as the national Association of Career and Technical Education. These
organizations work with legislators, industry professionals, and teachers to spread the message of
CTE and work to bring CTE to students all across the country.
Though NACTE and ACTE, over 10,000 members have connected to each other using social
media to share information that they are teaching to students and best practices. Over 24,000
members have attended professional development conferences in the last five years. Finally, over
500 professionals, institutions, and partners have been recognized for their contributions to
excellence.
As a result, students, teachers, and other professionals have benefited from the efforts of NACTE
and ACTE. We would like for you to hear our message and consider becoming a partner or
supporter of these organizations efforts so that Career and Technical Education can touch as
many people as possible and create many wonderful opportunities for the new generation of
innovators.
