Report cards went home today inside of a red folder

with some of second quarters work. Please review
the report card with your child to assess where he or
she is excelling, as well as where your child may need
additional support at home. Please sign the report
card envelope and send it back in as soon as possible.
In class we went over your childs report card to
determine what his or her goals should be for this
quarter. Also, two rubrics went home this quarter for
writing. One was for the ecosystem folder and
writing piece that we made mid-second quarter, the
other is the rubric for your childs Little Bird Tale.
Please have your child login to his or her account to
view the tale he or she wrote. These projects were a
large part of your childs writing scores this quarter.
Additionally, you will find a copy of the goals your
child will be working toward this quarter. Additional
practice at home will ensure that your child is headed
for success!

Book Report
The first book report for this quarter is due January
14th. If anyone needs a new book report packet, please
check out the class website at
www.mrsmullinsthirdgrade.weebly.com. You can find this
document by clicking on About and then clicking on the
Forms section. Under the forms section it gives you a
few documents. Please click on
readingcirclecertificate.docx and you will be able to
download the document. If you do not have access to
the internet, or cannot download it for another reasons
please let me know nad I can get you one as soon as
possible. Also note that book report forms are available
for your child to take at all times. I do try to remind
students to grab the forms the week before they are
due. Agendas are also great places for parents to put
reminders for their children. If for some reason your
child forgets to grab a form he or she can use any other
age appropriate form found online

Mrs. Viehmans and our class have teamed up

to create a basket for the silent auction at
Eaglefest. Our basket will be a Kidss Baking
Basket. We would love some donations of
spatulas, cake mixes, icing, cupcake liners and
anything else baking related that you think a
kid might like! I cant wait to see how great
our basket looks at Eaglefest!

Six Flags reading logs will be due on January

15th. No late logs will be accepted. Please let me
know if you have any questions, or need an
additional log. I know everyone will have so much
fun at Six Flags and how rewarding to know you

In this writing unit, the students will apply
their research skills to increase their
