HISTORY OF MUSIC III

Review Sheet for Quiz #1

We will have our first listening quiz in class on Wednesday, September 25. e quiz will ask you to respond to
questions based upon your understanding of three brief recorded excerpts. For each excerpt, I will ask you to identify
the work from which the excerpt is drawn and to answer some additional questions about the work that will draw
directly upon the issues we have discussed in class. Each excerpt will be played twice. All three of the excerpts will be
taken from repertoire covered in class from Monday, September 9 through Monday, September 23.
