    RaudnitzworkingwithErnestRaudnitz.ThehouseofRaudnitzwaslocatedinParis,France.

    C. AsignificanteventforMadeleineCheruitwasin1906whensheopenedherownHouse,the
    HouseofCheruitintheVendome.

    ShespreadedPaulPoiretsnamethroughoutthefashionworldtohelpestablishacareerfor
    him,1898.
    AllofherdesignswereprintedinthemagazineLaGazetteduBonTonbyLucienVogel,started
    in1912.Shedidthisnotonlytomarkethismagazinetotheworld,buttospreadnewtrendsand
    herdesigns.

    D. MadeleineCheruitwasaveryelegantwomenwhosefashionwasapartofherlife.Although
    shehadherownfashionindustrytoworkon,shethoughtofothersandhowshecouldhelp
    themfulfilltheirdreamsinthefashionworld.
    E. Cheruitcontributedtothefashionworldwithmanygownsandaccessoriesthatshecreated
    afterWW1.Allofherdesignsfeaturedprecisedesignsaswellasbeadingandornamenting
    throughoutherwork:

    eveninggowns,1914
    handpaintedcubistinspireddresses,1925

    F. CheruitwasphenomenatothefashionworldafterWW1.Shecreatedmanygownsthatwere
    popularatthattime,suchasflapperdresses,caps,andsuits.Whatmadeherdesignsstandout
    fromotherdesignerswasherdesignssheembroideredthroughoutthedesign.
    ThereasonmostofushavenotheardofCheruitisbecauseCocoChanelstartedmaking
    trendierdesignsthatwerelessextravagantthanCheruitsdesigns.ThismovetowardCoco
    Chanelstartedinthe1920s.
    TothisdayCheruitsdesignsarestoredondisplayinmanymuseumssuchastheMetropolitan
    artmuseuminNewYork.
