Hanuman Ji has super strong powers, valour, and tremendous energy, excellent wisdom and
knowledge of the scriptures even then he is very polite, and down to earth. He has extraordinary
skills of warfare and exhibits astonishing physical strengths but he does not take credit for what
he has done for Lord Ram: whether searching of Ma Janaki as a chosen messenger of Lord Rama
or it was the time of combat when Lakshman needed help to survive. He is very powerful, faster,
most responsive, and goal-oriented God. The following Shloka describes the qualities of
Hanuman Ji as the repository of immense power with a body glittering like a mountain of gold.
Atulit Bal Dhamam, Hem Shayla Badheham,
Dnuj Van Krishanum, Gyany Naam Agraganyam.
Sakal Gun Nidhanam, Vanaranam Dheesham,
Raghupati Priya Bhaktam, Vatjatam Namami.
Hanuman Ji jumps across seven seas in one leap as he is the son of Pavan ('Vayu', the Wind
God). He can fly to any of the destinations in the universe. He does not have ego of his powers.
When Jambuvant Ji made Him remember all His super energies and strengths then He
recollected all of them. Hanuman Ji never shows ego or misuses His amazing powers. As a
minister and messenger of Sugreeva, Hanuman Ji persuaded him to make friendship with Lord
Ram to solve all His problems. He succeeded in his sincere efforts. Hanuman Ji is the symbol
and the epitome of devotion, dedication, and services towards His Lord. He as the chief of the
armies of Shri Ramachandra took a prominent part in searching Ma Janaki and in planning the
fighting against Ravana, the king of Lanka.
When He met Ravana, He told him that His Lord Ram does not want to have war with him but
wants His wife back who is captured through a trick by him. Hanuman Ji offered Ravana a
promise on behalf of Lord Ram that he can live without fear for thousands of years as a king of
Lanka only if he accepts His Lord as his Lord and becomes His devotee like Him. This
illustration makes it clear that a real devotee should be like Hanuman Ji who encourages other
people to become the followers of Lord Ram.
