Soundarya Lahari written by Adi sankara has one hundred Shlokas in total. Each shloka can be used to achieve a
particular material/spiritual benefit according to Scriptures. By closely observing and analysing the given benefits, I
found that the benefits given are closely matching with results given for planetary combination in Brighu- Nandi Nadi
Astrology. Therefore Soundarya Lahari Shlokas can be used as Parihara Shlokas (Remedy) for planetary
combinations. If someone do not have good combination of planets in their horoscope. They can get the benefit of
desired planetary combination by chanting suitable Shloka from Soundarya Lahari. For example, when someone
(Female) does not have marriage yoga in her horoscope , she can definitely get married by chanting 69th Shloka.

THE SECRET OF VIMSOTTARI DASA

The measure of zodiac is 360 degrees. Our ancient seers have divided the zodiac in to three Janmas, based on the human
births. The first house is called Janma. The fifth house is called Punar Janma. The ninth house is called Poorva Janma. If we
divide 360 degree by 3 we get 120 degree. This 120 degree is equal to 120 years of human life. The total Period of Vimsottari
dasa is 120 years.

FAITH IN GOD PROTECT US

When I was in Bangalore,once a Tamil woman had Astrological consultation with me. when I checked her horoscope I found that
she is likely to suffer from uterus cancer. I suggested a remedy. I asked her to visit their family god (kula devatha), and perform
Pooja as per their family custom. She did not believe my words. She just laughed at me and left my place. After few days I heard the
news from her relative that the woman has been diagnosed with breast cancer and admitted in the hospital. one of her breast was
removed. I visited the hospital to see her. " you said I will suffer from uterus cancer, but I am diagnosed with breast cancer, you
have failed in your prediction" she said. I just prayed for her recovery. once again I insisted her to visit their family god at Salem.
Again she laughed at me. they did not pay any visit to their family god. After few days again I heard a news that her uterus also has
been removed since the disease spreaded to uterus also. She suffered with cancer for a year and passed away. They spent several
lakhs of rupees for treatment. They just ignored my advise. I felt sad for her untimely death. In an another instance a woman from
Chennai was diagnosed with cervical cancer. I suggested her to chant 79th Sloka from " Soundarya Lahari".She followed my advise.
In the following week when she went for a checkup the symptom has vanished. she is alright now. Thanks to god.
INTRODUCTION TO KP SYSTEM
The practicing Astrologers who followed either traditional Hindu system or Western system of Astrology find it difficult to pinpoint the
nature and time of event. For any consultant the nature and time of materialization of an event is more important. Therefore the
nature of event must be pinpointed and time of event must be fund out to the minute. Such a method alone is useful. Professor K.S
Krishnamurthy has discovered such a method, which is popularly known as Krishnamurthy paddathi. According to Hindu system of
Astrology zodiac is divided in to 12 equal divisions each measuring 30 degrees. They commence from Aries 0 degree and end by
Pisces 30 degree. Each division is called Rasi or Sign. The 12 Signs are ruled by 9 planets. In another way zodiac is divided in to 27
equal divisions each measuring 13 degree 20 minute. They commence from Aries 0 degree and end by Pisces 30 degree. The 27
divisions are called Nakshatras or Stars. These 27 stars are ruled by 9 planets. Each planet rules over 3 stars. Professor K.S
Krishnamurthy has divided each Star in to 9 unequal subdivisions. The longitude of each subdivision is in proportion in which they
are allotted the total number of years in Vimsottari dasa system. The longitude of each star is 13 degree 20 minute equal to 800
seconds. Therefore in every Star of 800 seconds each planet will have an area equal to the number of years allotted to each planet
in Vimsottari dasa system.
Sun (6/120) * 800 = 40 minute
Moon (10/120)* 800 = 01degree 6 minute 40second
Mars (7/120) * 800 = 46 minute 40 second
Mercury (17/120) * 800 = 01 degree 53 minute 20 second
Jupiter (16/120)* 800 = 01 degree 46 minute 40second
Venus (20/120) * 800 = 02 degree 13 minute 20second
Saturn (19/120) * 800 = 02 degree 6 minute 40second
Rahu (18/120)* 800 = 02 degree
Kethu (7/120) * 800 = 46 minute 40 second
The area allotted to each planet is same in every Star but the order in which they occupy the stars differs. The beginning portion of
the star is ruled by the lord of the star itself and the remaining portion of the star is ruled by the other planets just like in Vimsottari
dasa system. The total number of stars=27,1 star = 9 sub lords ,27 stars = 27 9 = 243 since the area allotted to Rahu and Moon are
connecting two signs at three places , 6 more subs are added. Hence the total number of subs will be equal to 249 . In Aswini Star
how the area will be allotted to each planet is given below.

KP ASTROLOGY RULE ANALYSIS

KP rule has two portions in it, which I have mentioned below:a) The sub-lord of the house under consideration (Or)
b) The lord of the star in which the sub-lord of the house under consideration is posited
If either of above planet signifies the favorable houses to the house under consideration, then the event will take place.
As per the above rule, which planet will become the sub-lord of the house under consideration? The following planets can only
become the sub-lord of the house under consideration.
a) The planet posited in the house
b) The owner of the house
As per the above rule, which planet will become the lord of the star in which sub-lord of the house under consideration is posited?
The following planets can only become the lord of the star in which the sub-lord of the house under consideration is posited.
c) The planet occupied the star of the planet posited in the house under consideration
d) The planet occupied the star of the planet which own the house under consideration
If we closely look in to the above points, we can understand that the sub lord of the house under consideration is a weak significator.
The first portion of KP rule has been just borrowed from traditional Astrology and stellar concept does not come in to picture at all.
Therefore no importance is to be given to the first portion of KP RULE (i.e. the sub-lord of the house under consideration). Whereas
in the second portion of KP Rule (The lord of the star in which the sub-lord of the house under consideration is posited), stellar
concept is fully applied. Therefore much importance is to be given to the second portion of the KP Rule. Although the KP system is
considered as unique stellar system, still there is a presence of traditional rule within the system.
JAAMA GRAHA ARUDA

Astrology = Time+Space
In horary Astrology, the Time as well as the Space, both are considered while giving prediction. Therefore two kinds of Lagnas are
calculated to serve the purpose. One is variable lagna, which is called Udhaya lagna. Udhaya is calculated based on time of
consultation. The duration of Udhaya lagna is one Hour. Another one is fixed lagna, which is called Aruda lagna. Aruda is nothing
but the space occupied by the questioner at the time of consultation. In olden days the Astrologers used to sit in the open Area, and
the clients used to sit around him in a circular form which helped him to draw an imaginary rasi chart around him and was able to
identify the Rasi occupied by the questioner. Several clients will come for consultation at the same time, but the space occupied by
them will be different, which enabled the astrologer to give different prediction for different people even though the time of
consultation is same. (Udhaya lagna will be same for one hour duration, but the Aruda will be different for different people, because
two persons can not occupy the same space at the same time.)
If the questioner occupies the East the Aruda is taken as either Mesha or VrishabaIf the questioner occupies the South East the
Aruda is taken as MithunaIf the questioner occupies the South the Aruda is taken as either Karkataka or SimhaIf the questioner
occupies the South West the Aruda is taken as KanyaIf the questioner occupies the West the Aruda is taken as either Thula or
VrichikaIf the questioner occupies the North West the Aruda is taken as DhanurIf the questioner occupies the North the Aruda is
taken as either Makara or KumbaIf the questioner occupies the North East the Aruda is taken as Meena
Now a days, all the questioners are made to sit in front of the Astrologer in a fixed chair, therefore the direction occupied by the
questioners will be same always and the Aruda Lagna also will be same all the time, which does not serve the purpose.
In order to overcome the difficulty of fixing the Aruda Lagna, as an alternate method, the Wrist Watch/Wall Clock with circular dial is
used to fix the Aruda. At the time of questioning, the big Hand in the clock is observed, the division occupied by the big hand in a
clock is taken as the Aruda rasi occupied by the questioner. Kindly keep in mind that the Aruda is not a Time, it is the Space
occupied by the questioner. Therefore the Accuracy of clock is not important.

Udhaya is calculated based on the time of consultation. In a day there will be 12 Udhayas of one hour duration and in a night there
will be 12 Udhayas of one hour duration. Here it is assumed that the Sun rise Time is 06.00 AM (fixed) for day time Udhayas. Sun
set time is 06.00 PM (fixed) for night time Udhayas.On the day of consultation, Locate in which rasi, the sun is transiting, Find out
the longitude of the Sun in the rasi occupied by it. Deduct the longitude of the Sun from 30 degree, and multiply the result by 2.that
is the balance period of Udhaya to be traversed in that Rasi. Add this balance period with 06.00AM or 06.00PM. Up to that time the
Udhaya will be, the rasi occupied by Sun on the day of consultation. By adding each one hour to this time will give the subsequent
Udhaya Lagnas.
Let us suppose that the Sun is in Mesha 20 degree on the day of consultation.
30-20=10
10*2=20
06.00+00.20=06.20
Up to 06.20 AM or 06.20 PM the Udhaya will be Mesha
06.20 to 07.20 the Udhaya will be Vrishaba
07.20 to 08.20 the Udhaya will be Mithuna and so on.

In astrology the significator of Fate or destiny(karma) is Saturn and the significator of Free will(Dharma) is Jupiter. According to
kalapurusha the 9th house is Dhanur which is ruled by Jupiter and the 10th house is makar which is ruled by Saturn. The 9th house
is called dharma and 10th house is called karma. Therefore Jupiter is called dhama Karaka and Saturn is called karma karaka. In
kalapurusha limbs the sign Dhanur is thigh, the sign makar is Knees, the sign kumba is foreleg and the sign meena is feet. The
signs dhanur & meena are ruled by Jupiter and the signs maker & kumba are ruled by Saturn. Without legs nobody can walk. To

Let us suppose that ten children takes birth at Chennai Apollo hospital at the same time to ten different mothers. Will the life
condition of all the ten children will be same? The answer will be a big NO. Let us suppose that two children takes birth at different
place at different time but their horoscope remains same. Will the life condition of both children will be same? Again the answer will
be a big NO.
The equation of Astrology is Time + Space. For casting the horoscope we take Time of birth, Date of birth and Place of birth in to
consideration. Time is not constant through out the world; it is place (space) dependant. With respect to a fixed place, the time
becomes variable. If we keep the time fixed, then the place will become variable. With the slight variation of time and place (space) it
is possible to get the similar pattern of horoscopes without any difference. One degree of latitude will be equal to 120 km of distance
approximately. Therefore it is impossible to specify the exact place (space) in the horoscope.
Fixed pattern of life can not be attributed to fixed pattern of horoscopes. Person to person the life pattern will vary, because every
person is unique. Two people can not occupy the same space at the same time. For example, the mother of twins can not feed both
the child from the same breast at the same time. Therefore the astrological predictions are time dependant as well as space
dependant. Some of the modern astrologers claim the accuracy of their predictive technique without considering the space
limitations. It is an error on their part.
There are several commonalities among the humans. Astrology can predict only such commonalities. Astrological rules are like
standards with specific tolerances. Therefore there will be some minor deviations from the standards. But it should be within the
tolerance limi.No predictive method is 100% perfect. Every predictive method has its own limitations. Trying to prove the supremacy
of one method over the other is a vain.

Nadi system are summarised below :-1. Planetary positions on the day of birth of an individual is just enough to give prediction.
Even if the Lagna, bhavas and Navamsa are not marked in horoscope, still prediction can be given by considering planetary
combinations.2. Neither Vimsottari Dasa-Bukthi method nor Conventional transit methods are used for timing the events. A unique
method of cross-transit of planets is used to time the events.3. Prediction given is based on the planetary combinations formed
either by conjunction or mutual aspects of planets. 4. Planetary aspects considered in Nadi Astrology is entirely different from the
conventional planetary aspects. The system has its unique planetary aspects.5. Planetary significations (Graha Karakatwas) are
only used to give prediction, to some extant Sign significations (Rasi Karakatwas) are also used. House significations (Bhava
karakatwas) are not at all used. 6. There is a slight variation in planetary significations (Graha Karakatwas) and Sign significations
(Rasi Karakatwas) when compared with conventional Astrology.A person little bit conversant with planetary significations (Graha
Karakatwas) and Sign significations (Rasi Karakatwas) can very easily understand and adapt this system in to his practice.

SECRETS OF SYMBOLISM IN ASTROLOGY BY S.RAVI

Symbols have been designed and extensively used to give certain commands to the human brain. Almost all the creations of
humans were once in their imagination and visualization. The visual effect of flying birds impelled the human to create Airplanes.
The visual effect of Swan in water impelled the human to create ships. Whatever the image, human eye observes; it is getting
registered in the brain almost instantly. The images registered in the brain are involuntarily visualized by humans till they assume
proper shape in the material world.
Each image is linked with a word and vice versa. When the word Elephant is uttered by someone, the image of Elephant appears
in the mind almost instantly. In the same way when we see the real Elephant, the word Elephant is uttered involuntarily. Each
image has a word attached to it and each word has an image attached to it. Human brain requires both image and a word to
understand anything. Human brain does not recognize a word without image, and an image without a word. Words are verbal and
the images are visual in nature.
The material world comprises of five elements. The five elements are linked with five sensory organs. Skin, Mouth, Eyes, Nose and
Ears are five sensory organs. The Eyes are the most powerful ones, out of these five sensory organs. The images observed by eyes
are sent to the brain and the effect of the same is felt almost instantly. Next to the visual effects of eyes, the brain gets affected by
the words uttered and heard. The word and image are called sound and Light. Everything in this material world is being controlled
by sound and light.
The term world is called vishwam in Sanskrit. The word Vishnu was derived from this root word vishwam. The meaning of
Vishnu is All pervading. The invisible and intangible natural force which is controlling the material world is considered as GOD by
humans. Human comprehensions cannot go beyond the limit of material world. Gods principle works within as well as beyond the
material world. The five elements are in the gross (Sthulam) level. The sound and light are in the abstract (Sukshumam) level. The
gross level world is controlled by the abstract level world. In order to depict this concept, the image of Lord Vishnu is holding a
Conch shell in one hand, and holding a wheel in another hand. The conch shell represents sound and the Wheel represents Light.
The image of Lord Siva is also holding a Drum (Damarukam) in one hand, and fire pot in another hand to depict the same concept.
The Drum represents sound and the fire pot represents Light.
In Hindu religion, the image worship is given more importance. Each Hindu God has a name and form. The name and form of the
god will create a desired effect in human brain in the form of sound and light which will ultimately impel the man to achieve his goal.
This is the reason in South Indian Temples several god images are installed to activate the human brain. The images are called
Yantras and the descriptions of the images in word are called Mantras. The modern science also confirms that the left brain of
the human is more concerned with verbal communication and the right brain of the human is more concerned with visual
communication. The right brain usage is found to be very less in humans. The one who uses the right brain effectively becomes a
creative man. In order to use the right brain effectively several images are installed in Hindu temples. Frequent visit to Hindu
Temples improves the visualization power of the humans.
Modern society is erroneously mocking at image worshippers without understanding the benefit enjoyed by the worshipper. When
the images are visualized and its descriptive words are heard, the left and right brain, works in synchronization which helps the
human to achieve his goal. Regular visualization of images makes the one to achieve his goal in the long run. In order to facilitate
