A cool way to wrap a gift for a loved one, a funky way to make kids party gift bag or a simple
decoration for the home. This Take Away box will please young and old.

1: Print out the Mini Gift Bag Template. Cut around the solid lines.
NOTE: Pattern is at A4 size, but can be photocopied or enlarged onto larger paper if you wish.
You will need to print pattern on opposite side of paper to prevent visible lines on your final
Take Away Box.

2: Fold edges-

- Firstly, score the edges of the flaps (a,b,c,d) inwards. As shown in

first illustration with arrows.
- Fold the 4 darker lines into a mountain fold.See below.

- Fold the remaining 8 dotted lines into a valley fold.See below.

NOTE: A mountain fold is where a peak is made on the fold line,
and the two sides are folded back on themselves. A valley fold
is where a gutter is made, and the two sides are folded in on

themselves.

3: Assemble boxWith correct folds, the box should come together quite easily. Bring together the side flaps (b
and d) of the box and tape together. Repeat again for other side. As shown.

4: Make Ribbon holes- On sides b and d, make a small hole about up from bottom for your ribbon ties. It is best to
use a knife tip, so that the hole is small. Cut 2 pieces of ribbon at desired length. You can trim
ribbon once you have tied up your box.
- Tie double knots on one end of each ribbon, and thread through the holes. Make

sure the knot is on the inside on the box.

- To close the box, fold b and d in first.

5: Tie up and decorate boxTie up peices of ribbon at top of box. Attach Paper Daisy (see Paper Daisy instructions) or paper
decoration (see paper decoration).
