1.0 INTENT
1.1 This India National System Plan (INSP) provides detailed plan for the
utilization of the frequency bands between 351-356 MHz paired with 361-366
MHz and 356-358 MHz paired with 366-368 MHz on case by case basis for
trunking systems in India by various
1.2 The Frequency Band 351-356 MHz paired with 361-366 MHz and 356358 MHz paired with 366-368 MHz is used for trunking services subject to the
following conditions: as per IND 28

IND28 The requirement of digital radio trunked service for captive

networks will also be considered in the frequency band 351-356
MHz paired with 361-366 MHz and 356-358 MHz paired with 366368 MHz on case by case basis
The 350MHz TETRA networks are now being deployed in many
countries for Public Security and other Municipal services. The digital
TETRA system synchronized with the legacy analog two way and
trunking system allow smooth transition to the digital TETRA platform
without disrupting the analog system users. The system meets the
stringent requirements of the Public Safety Authorities for daily public

security Communications purposes. This will greatly enhance the

public security telecommunication facilities, and improve overall
communications. The use of this band for digital TETRA solution is
highly flexible and adaptive in supporting a full range of integrated
voice and data services including command and control and would
help in delivering mission-critical communications solutions for all
public security sectors, government institutions and corporate
enterprises
