Nature of Problem
Structural integrity and
stability
of
the
lighthouse,
approach
bridge and the jetty head
of the one fathom bank
needed to be ascertained.
The Solution
Structural assessment and testing works i.e. cover meter, compressive strength,
carbonation test, cement, chloride & sulphate content tests, UPV test, half potential
test and breakout survey were carried out on the RC structures.
