Scorecard for Forecast 2014

Low Interest Rates Through 2014
The preponderance of transits in 2014 involving Jupiter, which
indicates easing, not tightening, will continue. These studies
indicate that the Fed will likely continue its low interest rate and
accommodative monetary policies through 2014.
The Fed indeed kept rates at unprecedented, multi-year lows with its policies
in place to continue with this for well into 2015.

Strong U.S. Dollar

A normal corrective decline in a bull market would be 78.40 +/1.50. Traders may thus look to buy as long as the U.S. Dollar
index holds above this support zone.
On May 8, 2014, the U.S. Dollar made as yearly low of 78.90. The Dollar then started an
impressive rally to 86.74 by early October.

Continuing Scandals in the USA

If the first half of the Uranus-Pluto square is any indication of
what is to come, than we can anticipate more revelations
involving more secrets and cover-ups in the next year. In fact,
these revelations may reach a crescendo within weeks of April 20-55, 2014.
The Veterans Administration scandal was revealed within days of April 20-22, followed by the
uproar over the swap of 5 Taliban prisoners for one army sergeant (who may have deserted his
unit).

Possibility of War
Mars turning retrograde (March 1-May 20) nearby to Saturn
also turning retrograde (March 2-July 20), is particularly
worrisome, for this is another warlike combination. Unfortunately, the United States is right in the
middle of this quagmire.
This coincided with Russias annexation of Crimea, a new Cold War between the USA, Western
Europe, and Russia. It also signaled the rise of ISIS.
