Learning Outcomes [ASSURE (State Objectives)]
At the end of the lesson, when the tasks are given to them, all of the students will:
-Have a basic vocabulary lexicon of words and phrases related to particular farm animals.
-Be able to create short phrases and sentences using given farm animals..
-Pronounce a very limited repertoire of learned words and phrases intelligibly though not without some effort.
- Ask and answer simple questions, initiate and respond to simple statements on familiar topics.
- Be able to write the exact equivalents of farm animals.
- Identify the given farm animals from the word puzzles, word hunts and jumbled words.

Summary
First, teacher gives a brief speech about the content of the lesson. Then, students will watch a video from
YouTube about farm animals. In this way, students will be acquired about the content of the lesson. After it,
the teacher will give colorful papers which are prepared beforehand to the students and they will cut them
properly for the required farm animals. Upon doing some activities, the teacher will supply students with some

more activities which consist of jumbled words and want them to fill these blanks. In the very end, students will
repeat names of farm animals repeatedly, which will increase their understanding of given farm animals. For
evaluation, the students will be given a short cloze test.

Cloze Test
-Students will come next class after writing given farm
animals' names and their Turkish equivalents 10 times.
-Doing exercises from the course book.

Explanation
Explanation regarding to the implementation of the plan
Students will come to the class knowing a little bit about the animals. The teacher will prepare students with a
warm-up activity, which is funny. While watching the video, the teacher interrupts periodically to see how the
students are doing. After finishing the video, the students will be given colorful papers. It will help them to
boost their creativity somehow. They will cut the papers according to the animals size. As a worksheet activity,
the teacher will distribute 2 sheets including jumbled words and word bingo. These sheets will be appropriate
for their levels. By the way, the students will follow their course books. Then, as a relieving activity, they will
sing a song which is from YouTube about farm animals .It will be like a consolidating activity. Then, they will be
given easy word puzzles and word hunts. It will last almost 8 minutes. After giving their answers, lastly, the
students will be made to have a short close test that will not only evaluate what they have learned but also will
give feedback to them about not doing the same mistakes again. For back-up plan, if the time is not enough for
doing all the activities, one or two of the worksheet activities will be cancelled. Also, if the students ask
questions requiring a lot of time, one or two of the worksheet activities will be cancelled, too.
