LEARNING ACTIVITY PLAN

Procedure:
After coming in from outside, and children have
all their outdoor wear off and hung up, I will
then head over to the carpet and start to sing
Open Shut Them to gather the children there.
I will then instruct the children to sit crisscross applesauce, so each friend has enough
space. Once the children are sitting in crisscross applesauce, I will then sing ABCs with
them. When we are done singing, I will
introduce the story with prop 5 Little
Monkeys, and ask the children Do you know
the story of the 5 little monkeys? Then I will
let them know that we are going to read this
story. I read the story, and use my mitt,
monkey, and story card. After the story is
finished, I will ask them specific questions
about the story, to see what they retained
from the stroy activity.
