forms of child abuse. The website gives statistical numbers related to the abuse of children and
gives in-sight as to how serious the issue of child abuse really is.
Why Im using this as a source is because, the website clearly defines the forms of child
abuse and will help the reader understand the differences and specificities between all of them.
Statistics provided are extremely informative and help put the magnitude of this issue into
perspective. In addition to informing the reader as to what child abuse is, the website also
provides information on spotting and reporting child abuse.

This website goes in-depth to describe the warning signs of abuse. The signs are
specifically laid out and described very clearly. The site explains the types of abuse along with
examples of abuse, explaining what is and what isnt abuse, as the border between the two is
rarely, but sometimes unclear.
Why Im using this source is because, the signs of abuse are very clearly listed, informing
the reader of even the tiniest details. In addition, the site gives examples pertaining to the main
types of abuse. The examples will clear up any confusion as to what abuse really is.

gives signs to look for in the parent as well as the child.

Why Im using this source is because, this website goes into detail describing signs of
abuse in the parent. The abuser must be researched just as much as the child to fully understand
these situations. The site also goes into more depth describing the effects of abuse.

This book gives specific details on all types of child abuse. The book gives an extensive
amount of information and statistics showing many tables and graphs putting much of the
situations into perspective.
Reasons why I chose this source are because of the large pool of information on the topic
which can be used to explain many grey areas of the topic and give specific explanations or
certain situations.

race, ethnicity, age, gender etc. Child isnt only a national concern, but a global one.
Reasons why I choose this source are because, I agreely strongly with the points made in
the text. Child abuse doesnt only exist in the United States. This will help the reader grasp that
concept.
