Cell phones

According to the syllabus, cell phones are not allowed in class


except when permitted by teacher.
Cell phones need to be in your bags not on your desks.
If you are caught using your cell phone during class, it is an
automatic detention.

Extra Credit to be eligible you must


sign up by Jan 9
This is the only extra credit opportunity that I will offering this semester.
ASL Night is January 27th (5-7 pm)
If you perform in the ASL night show, you will be awarded 100 points of
extra credit.
If you are interested please speak with 3rd Year ASL students they are
the ones who are planning this event.

Family Tree Presentation


We will be doing this conference style
Each day 5-6 people will set up a booth
The rest of class will split up into groups of 3 and visit
each booth
You need paper with you when visiting each booth

Family Tree Presentation Continued


Presentation will be done in ASL, Q+A will be in ASL.
Person presenting you will present your family tree in
the same way we have been doing the do-si-do
Groups visiting you need to pay attention to each
presentation. You will each ask 1 question for each
presenter. Your goal is to find similarities and
differences in each family tree.

After presentations
Write a 1 page summary of the similarities and differences you
learned about each of the families.
Presenters answer How would you improve on your presentation?
List 3 examples and explain how you would improve.
