Cell phones

According to the syllabus, cell phones are not allowed in class

except when permitted by teacher.

Cell phones need to be in your bags not on your desks.

If you are caught using your cell phone during class, it is an
automatic detention.

Extra Credit
This is the only extra credit opportunity that I will offering this semester.
ASL Night is January 27th (5-7 pm)
If you perform in the ASL night show, you will be awarded 100 points of
extra credit.
If you are interested please speak with 3rd Year ASL students they are
the ones who are planning this event.

Create and draw your family tree

For each box, you need:

-Name
-Age
-Relationship to you

You need at least 15 or more family members on the tree/paper.

 Starting with Great grandparents (if you still

remember)or Grandparents (horizontally)
Narrow down to parents/aunt/uncles (vertically)
Narrow down to siblings/cousins/ niece/nephew
+ means marriage

Video Projects

We will have many video projects this year.

My expectation of video project are:
Do not stand by the main door or windows, stand or sit by
the wall or doors.
Sit or stand upright, dont slouch
Sign clear and look into camera (dont look at paper all the
way)
Dont horseplay with cameras or behind someone while
filming.
NO GUM during filming.

Family tree project = 30 points

1. Complete the family tree.
2. Practice signs for your family tree.
-Include name, age and relationship to you

3. When you are ready, have someone film you.

4. Turn-in the family tree paper .
5. Help others with filming.
