Objective
To bring my unique personality and talents to the classroom and establish community as I help my
students learn various reading and writing skills. Moreover, I hope to help my students grow through
more than their writing and reading ability by showing them my lifelong passion for learning.

Teaching Experience

Taught for sixteen weeks at Marshall Middle School in Duluth. While I was at this site I led
discussions with students, and aided their study in a variety of subjects such as, English,
mathematics, and social studies. In addition to my time within the classroom I was a supervisor
during other school functions. e.g. field trips and school plays.
One on one tutoring experience outside of class while I was at Marshall Middle School in
Duluth.
Taught for sixteen weeks at Lincoln Park Middle School in Duluth. While I was working in this
placement I encountered a high percentage of diverse learners. In addition, I participated in a
Professional Learning Community alongside the other faculty and gained first-hand experience
working with struggling students and differentiation within the classroom.
