Nu Flow Mexico Provides an Alternative to Digging for Golf Club

When a sanitary line was leaking into a parking garage at a residential golf club in Mexico, the apartments
owners did not authorize digging. Instead, Nu Flow Mexico was chosen to offer an alternative to traditional
repair that does not require destruction to finished structures and landscapes.
Project: Use Nu Flows Nu Main liner to rehabilitate a
problematic leak in a 12 PVC line without downtime
to operations.
Customer: Club de Golf Bosques, Mexico, one of the
most exclusive Residential Golf Clubs in Mexico City.
System: A 164-foot PVC sanitary line 12 in diameter
located underground, passing between the walls
of two parking garages and two multi-residential
buildings.
Situation: After a video inspection service, it was
revealed that the sanitary line was experiencing
problems at a union gasket. This caused filtration
of sanitary water on the walls of one of the parking
garages, generating humidity and fungi on the walls.

Solution: The customer analyzed many options on how to fix the pipe and decided to work with Nu Flow
Mexico because the apartments owners did not authorize digging due to the problems involved in the
process.
To rehabilitate the pipe in a non-destructive manner, the system was first cleaned with a Vactor Truck and
video inspected again to determine the exact location of the gasket problem. The water flow was bypassed
to allow technicians to install 10 feet of 12 Nu Main liner in the exact problematic area.
The installation was made in the morning without downtime to any services, and after the liner had cured
the system was returned to service. During the pipe rehabilitation, owners had no interruption to their
parking garage service and were able avoid destroying the concrete floor and walls.
