-I find this very important in the classroom. Its where a lot of the learning
takes place and it keeps all students engaged and interacted.

- I think this article is very important because it gives different ways and
examples on how to make sure your classroom is a safe environment for your
students. It also addresses how to deal with students who may come into the
classroom with a lot of emotional baggage that can refrain them from using
their full potential when learning.

- I really enjoyed this article because I believe that to have a productive
classroom, you need to make sure you are compassionate and keep your
students voices and ideas prioritized.

Classroom and School Culture
- I liked this article because I do believe that morning meetings with the
students in your class are a very crucial part of the day. It allows you to greet
all the students, share any announcements you may have, and if you have
time complete a group activity. Morning meetings as a whole, I think, set the
tone for respectful learning, establish a trustworthy environment, support
social, emotional, and academic learning, and really help the students feel
important.

and has a variety of different teacher resources.

- This resource includes several practical ideas for instilling positive behavior
in the whole class, as well as detailed instructions including a how-to video
of how to create an individual behavior plan.

14. Socrative:
- Socrative is a smart student response system that provides a series of
educational exercises and games via smart phones, laptops, and tablets.
Socrative has multiple choice questions, exit tickets to gauge understanding
at the end of the lesson, and you can include pictures in your questions and
you can also have Socrative answers your short answer questions too.
15. Class Dojo
- Class Dojo is a free classroom tool that helps teachers improve behavior in
their classrooms quickly and easily. It captures and generates data on
behavior that teachers can share with parents and administrators.
16. Stick Pick
- It allows the teacher to pick a student at random just by giving your device a
shake or tapping the screen, but thats just the beginning. Stick Pick suggests
question starters for learners at different levels and also records how well
students respond during classroom discussions. If a student is consistently
scoring near the top or bottom, simply change the level so students aren't
bored or frustrated.

interaction. Search by subject, grade or theme to build a comprehensive plan.

- This interactive website is a free public service that helps children to read
by using phonics. It is a great resource for preschool, kindergarten, first
grade, second grade, special education, home school, and English language
learners.
19. Everything a new elementary school teacher really needs to know (But didnt
learn in college.)
- This book gives real life situations and first hand advice from educators that
have worked in an early childhood classroom. The material in the book is all
very relatable and it is a very fun and easy read.

- This is a complete online resource that administrators or teachers can visit
to find news briefs on educational topics, lesson plans and printable
worksheets, tips and ideas for classroom management, and a huge library of
educational articles.
