Objective of This Unit

Students will be asked to define culture in general, define elements of their own culture and to
examine why cultures change.

Students Will Reach This Objective By:

Reading articles related to culture and cultural identity.

Student Assessment
Students will be asked to create a cultural exhibit that:
-Identifies the aspects of their culture that are easy for others to identify.
-Identifies the aspects of their culture that are not as easy for others to identify.
-They will also be asked to define culture and to think about why cultures change.
