Organization Strategies
Purpose: To inform the audience of how to use organization in leadership.
Introduction:
I. Gain audiences attention: if you have been at Tallulah Falls for even a few months you
know how important it is to work as a team when you have group projects.
II. Establish credibility: these organization strategies have helped me when I am doing
group projects and working with others.
III. Briefly explain strategy: Organization is a way to conserve time and work together
smoothly.
IV. Preview the body:
a. Topic 1-Encourage others
b. Topic 2-Provide vision
Body:
I. Encourage others-(build up more than tear down) (create harmony)
a. When in or leading a group you should be positive and work as a team
b. Get along with people even if you dont like them.
i. I try to use these strategies when I am working with others in many
situations such as group projects or sports.
II. Provide a vision that everyone can strive for and work together to achieve.
a. You need to set a goal and assign tasks for each individual person.
b. When people have a set goal then they will work efficiently and effectively.
i. when people dont have a vision they have no basis on which to work.
Conclusion
I. If you encourage others and set a goal then your work should go without difficulty.
II. Using organization in leadership will make your life easier and help you in leadership
positions.
III. Leadership is based on inspiration, not domination; on cooperation, not intimidation.
