Dear Families,
Thank you so much for the thoughtful and generous
gift card for Baby Emery! We are excited that she will be here
soon, and this will allow us to get everything we need for her!
I will continue to be in close contact with Mr. Bass to make
sure the transition is as smooth as possible.
DIBELS testing is scheduled for next week. Please
make sure you are listening to your child read aloud nightly
and over the weekend. Our goal is at least 102 correct words
in one minute.
Third grade will have their Holiday Performance on
Thursday, December 18 at 12:30 in the cafetorium. Students
are asked to dress in their holiday attire, or wear red and
green.
We love it when students do the Wright thing and
we are very excited about our behavior celebration which is
scheduled for December 19th. Students who have 70 or
more positive behavior points will go to see Penguins of
Madagascar free of charge! We would like to say a
special thank you to Mrs. Mason and Mrs. Streetman for
providing this special reward. All students are asked to wear
pajamas to school on December 19th to enjoy our Christmas
breakfast party.

Math
Skill Focus: Students will continue to
study multiplication concepts and use
various strategies to help solve
problems. We will be applying all the
properties weve learned
(commutative, associative,
distributive) to help us solve word
problems and use our critical thinking.
