The Task
Compare and contrast presidential elections of the United States
in the past and how they are currently ran in the republic that
we have today. Consider these questions when gathering
information.
How were elections ran?
What made a good election?
How did the president win?
Who voted in the election?
How did they relay their values, morals, etc.
After your have completed research, construct a mock election
of the president assigned from the era. Each group member will
have a different role and should play that role in the campaign.
After the election has been acted out, relay information to the
class on how the election that you did is similar and or different
to present elections.
