Winterizing
The Growin Bag was designed to produce
for only one summer but could be
overwintered in zones 8-9 outdoors in a
protected spot where it will receive natural
rainfall. In zones 5-7, bag must be moved to
cold garage with a temperature below 50
degrees Fahrenheit but above freezing.
Water lightly every 4-5 weeks to keep sol
barely damp and move outdoors in early
spring.

Committed to offering the best for the

garden, Park has always maintained the
highest standards in products and
service. Three generations of Parks

century. It is now under the aegis of

the home gardener, in accordance with

PREPARING

Introduction
For all the gardeners out there who want to
grow strawberries all year round, we have
just the thing for you. For this project, you
will need potting soil, a growing bag,
strawberry plants, and an ice pick. Our
product, along with this step-by-step
brochure, will help to grow your beautiful
strawberry garden.

1. Moisten potting soil

2. Fill the Growin Bag within 2
inches of the top (press firmly
to avoid air pockets)
3. Lay bag on a flat surface
4. Fold the top of the bag over and
secure with tape so soil does
not spill
5. Find the precut T-slits and set
strawberry plants through
them.
*trim the roots 4-5 inches if
needed
6. Thoroughly water the plants

Use an ice pick to punch

extra holes in the bottom
and middle of the pouch to
provide better drainage (if
needed)
Remember to use water
soluble fertilizer during the
summer (Algoflash for
Flowering PlantsTM or
Miracle-Gro TM suggested)
Remove all but 2 or 3
runners per plant which
can be used to replace the
original plants after a year
or so.

PLANTING

Allow one or two weeks

for plants to take root.
Hang the Growin Bag
in direct sunlight
Unfold the top, add more
potting soil
Plant one or two of the
excess plants in the top of
the bag

Tips
A runner is a stem which grows
along the ground rather than
upwards. The roots grow down
from the runners and these help
the plants spread over a large area.
