Why is The Preamble important and does it have an impact on us today? Does it still help us
today? The Preamble still provides for the common defense and justice. This is obvious in the
events after 9/11/2001 and the end of slavery.
The Preamble is the summary of what the constitution means, so you do not have to read
the whole constitution. The overall meaning of The Preamble means that it is a preliminary or
preparatory statement.The main purpose of The Preamble according to Google is the main
statement of the United States constitution.
There are different sections of The Preamble and different meanings. We the people of
the United States means we are citizens of United States. In order to form a more perfect
union means the quality righteousness, equality or moral, rightness, fairness and rightful law.
Insure domestic tranquillity means to keep peace at home. Provide for the common defense
means support and provide for the military and armys defend against outside threats. Promote
the general welfare means, the right to tax people among the states. Secure the blessings of
liberty to ourselves and our posterity means freedom. Do ordain and establish this constitution
for the United States of America means to establish justice and follow the United States
constitution.

The Preamble has had to establish justice and for the common defense of the United States.

Also, 21-30 million people are in slavery today that makes up over $32 million, that is what we
(Americans) spend every year on snacks and foods some examples would be potato chips and
pretzels. That is very big to overcome. 21-30 million is the smallest portion of the worlds
population but is still a very big amount. According to

more than 130 pieces of legislation. After the attack 48 bills and laws have been approved and
there has also been more airport security, even more security outside the airport as well. State
Department of Immigration tells to share visa and their immigrant data. One more important fact
is that even health care like James Zadroga 9/11 health provided $4.2 billion for the health of the
people. Last but not least according to www.pbs.org/newshour/rundown/911 the number of
tourist from pakistan fell since the attack but the highest deporation percentage was from Central
America. One story after the attack was that a man was murdered but he was not a muslim he
was a Sikh the murderer thought that he was because of the turban and the beards. Also after the
attack, was the number of FBI agents grew. But there was a lot of harassment and violence to
muslims.
The Preamble has and always will provide us with justice and common defense for the attack
on 9/11 and how it was settled and did slavery ever end. Some of the main points were that 21-30
million people in slavery today is $32 billion of profit, we also know that airport security has
grew after 9/11/2001 attack, and we also know after 9/11 some americans thought that some
people with beards and a turban was muslim but for sure that was not the case. Do you think

every country in the world will stop slavery and will the American airport security still remain
the same?
