Tao Te Ching, a sacred text, contains

concepts that were much later taught by
Jesus in Palestine, and were preserved in
the Bible or restored by God through the
Mormon Prophet Joseph Smith.

The word Tao literally means way or

order, but in Taoism refers to the
ordering principle of the universe.

Nothing in the Tao Te Ching now

remains that mentions Jesus, and little
even of eternal life. This, however does
not automatically mean that those concepts were never part of it.
