Missile Technology
The types of technology that interests me the most is missile technology. Missile technology has been
around for the past seven decades. A lot of people are not aware that the first missile developmental
system was designed by the Nazis in World War 2. They began working on the first missile in the mid
1940s. This first missile system was known as the V2 Rocket. The purpose of this rocket was to attack
there enemies from super long distances. The Nazis were highly successful but were a little too late to
use these missiles due to the loss in the war. Missiles have been around for quite some time now. Since
the 1940s the United States have started to become more capable of building missiles and other long
range weapons. In the 1960s the United States and Russia was at their peak of their missile programs.
With the issues at the time threats and accusations were made by both countries which started the cold
war. The cold war consisted of Russia and The United States. Many countries realized the power of the
weaponry of both countries and after the cold war many countries started to develop missile weapon
programs. Thankfully the cold war consisted of no causalities but the superstition of JFKs assassination.
The missile since then has been known as the best weapon known on this planet. What makes this so
fascinating is the speed of the weapon and how far it can travel. The next major incident with this
weapon started in the 1990s with the commencement of desert storm. There was a threat of SCUD
missile systems from the Taliban and other Iraqi forces. These threats deteriorated very quickly. In the
modern day missile technologies are still a major threat. One of the biggest threats from missile
technology comes from Korea. Korea has constantly shot missiles to see how long they can distance
there range. All in all the history of the missile has been very stricken with threats and advancements of
the missile. Missile technology is one of the greatest technologies that has been issues over time. There
are good things that can be taken away from missile technology. Since the 1960s missile technology has
been used to place astronauts in space. The first to use the missile to reach space was Russia with their
famous Sputnik aircraft. Missile technology has many advantages coming from developing a space
program and protection. All in all, missile technological development has been altered for the great of
good and bad. The United States constantly uses missile technology to place satellites into space and
view the world in different ways then we see it today. I believe that missile technology is the greatest
technology that is used in this modern day. Missile technology can be used for transportation to space,
protection, and so on and so forth. In Conclusion missile technology has many offers and the
progression of the missile has spectacularly changed over the past seven decades.
