Food campaign updates/Christmas

Hello,
Greetings from the Food for All team in Rome! We wanted to thank you again for your phenomenal

The animated video continues to be viral, with more than 12 million views. Thanks for making that
happen!

Many of you have yearly plans in place for Advent, but if youre looking for a way to tie in the food
campaign, these resources are available:

(People can write things like buying Fair Trade, volunteering at a soup kitchen, sharing a
meal with a family in need, etc.)
Coming soon: clickable Christmas tree based on a design by Caritas Jordan. This links to the
cardinals message, the sign above, and a CI donation page; we will upload the original design
to Baobab so you can use the JPG for your purposes if you like.
We will launch this tree on facebook.com/iamcaritas for Advent.

Other ideas to combine the food campaign with Advent and Christmas:

For gifts, encourage Caritas supporters to buy Fair Trade food items.
In Advent prayers or your Advent calendars, please consider mentioning the goals of the Food
for All campaign: making change so that the hungry can feed themselves, and ending hunger
by 2025.
A priest in the USA has challenged Caritas supporters to make simple, affordable meals. If
your fans do so, they might consider donating the money they save to their local Caritas,
perhaps for Christmas. Several people have taken the challenge, including this Caritas fan

simple meal.
