Introduction
We are going to be making mittens today!

Does anyone remember what the word symmetrical means

Time

Show them how to get water off of the paint brush so that there is not
too much water on the paint brush while cleaning their brushes
We need to make both our mittens that same symmetry and have no
white showing
We will be making mittens like the example and than making
snowflakes
Tell them to write their names on the back of their mittens
Body
Mittens
Paint your mittens up to the line where we put the fleece on
Make sure both sides are the same
Make them very colorful
Make sure you have lots of paint on your brushes to make nice dark
colors
When you are done the painting part, you need to put glue on the top
to glue on the fleece

Time

Coffee filter snowflakes and different shades of paint for extra time
activity
Get them to cut a snowflake show an example and than paint it with
the different shades of blue
