Provided technical guidance to team members in terminating copper core and fiber optic cables on main
distribution frames and interface equipment, and operation and performing maintenance on tools, test
equipment, and auxiliary equipment. Located, repaired, and replaced faulty closures in copper core,
coaxial, and fiber optic cable systems. Performed pneumatic troubleshooting to locate faulty splice
closures. Excavated and backfilled splice pits. Sealed cables, repaired and adjusted pressure transmitters
and contactors. Installed underground cable, used duct rods, cleaned cable duct systems, prepared pulling
apparatus, and pulled in and temporarily bonded cable. Installed, maintained, and marked path of buried
cable systems. Troubleshot and maintained data communications lines and equipment to determine the
source of errors, faulty circuits, and other induced problems.
