Cover Letter

To Whom It May Concern,

I am currently seeking employment in the financial field. I have studied
business accounting for two semesters at Georgian college in Barrie, Ontario
where I achieved the Deans list for the two semesters. During that time, I also
had a part time job at the Metro grocery store in Barrie where I was working
midnights. This developed skills like time management because I needed to
balance school work, classes, sleep, and thirty to forty hours of midnight shifts in
a week. Well still maintaining an eighty or above percentage to stay on the
Deans list. This job also gave me the chance to manage a team of five people,
which helped me develop my people, teamwork, and management skills when
unique problems would arise. Currently I am attending Fanshawe College and
enrolled in their Business-Finance program. I am also employed at the Metro
grocery store in London, Ontario part-time.
My intentions of my e-portfolio are to give you a central hub of information about
me, also reasons to why I would be a valuable asset to your company. Included
in my e-portfolio is a short biography about myself, my most up to date resume,
two letters of recommendations, a list of references that you may contact, and
four artifacts. These artifacts include a transcript from Georgian College, a
Worksmart transcript, an excel spreadsheet (Grade: 110%), and my final project
for a visual communication course (Grade: 97%)
