An ordinary mom.
Cori Colthurst, my mom, is 49 year old with a body that show she gave birth to five kids.
And on top of her head is a tangled mass of going gray hair. With the fashion sense of a blind
dead man her favorite thing to wear is blue stretchy pants and a red shirt. Like most moms she
had to put up with a lots of thing. With five kids to pick and prodded at her some many think she
put up with more than normal. Be our roughhousing or picking on her for her talking like she
learn how to talk from Scooby doo.
We would climb up on the old small roof on our house and have picket. We would take
turn as look out. Alison Garnett told me as we sat on my bed. She sat at the foot and I sat at the
head with my computer and a piece of paper in my lap. She told me other things that we did
when I was too young to remember. Like braking brooms over each others head or Alison, the
oldest, telling us to jump off her house bed with only Meijer bags in our hands. She said that they
will work like parachute. We would also mix conditioner and anything else we get our hands on
and makes weird potions. She said remembering the time our brother Billy ate a pit of one.
The sun was sinning and the weather was clam. House elf for sale! House elf for sale!
was howler across the yard. The person that was yelling was a little girl and siting by her was a
smaller girl who look like a little sister. The older girl name is Alison and the younger girl is me
Kaitlyn. Up come running their sister Courtney. I will buy the house elf. She said as she ran to
us. What do you have to buy her? Alison ask wanting to know if it was a good deal. I have

three rocks and a brick. Courtney said as if three rocks and a brick was a $100. Alison thought it
was a good deal because she sold me for three rocks and a brick. That wasnt the first time nor
the last time they would sell me to each other.
With all the thing my mom had to put up with I am amaze that she not in the funny
house yet. Now I know way her hair is graying. As you can see my mom put up with us. But she
not an innocent in this battle of wits. She learn to give back as much as she get.
