Summary:
Ukraines top priority is to create an army that is strong enough to keep up with Russias
belligerence, said the countries prime minister. He made this statement on Friday
November 14th as shocking news was reported. A 5 year old little girl was reported,
murdered on the east side of Ukraine by a falling shell. Due to this Ukraines
government and Western countries accuse the Moscow of sending troops and tanks into
the Donbas region to support rebels who are fighting to enlarge two breakaway
republics. Later, Moscow denied that even just one troop entered Ukraine across the
moral border. Both Ukrainian forces and rebel militias have used indiscriminate
shelling in residential areas that they are being noticed for. Sadly, the 5 year old little
girl and her mother were hit just outside of a doctors office in a village close to the
Luhansk region. The mother is very injured and the 5 year old girl has instantly passed.
This attack, whether intentional or accidental has caused plenty of controversy all over
the world concerning the weapons that are being used. This incident has especially
caused plenty of controversy due to the announcement that was just made about
improving the army.

Reaction:
After reading this article I had a feeling of sadness and then I felt very thankful. I think it
is very disturbing that a 5 year old little girl had to die in the hands of her very injured
mother, just because of little conflicts that can easily be resolved. This article proved to
me that war and conflict took over so much of peoples lives, that gaining a strong army
to kill is their main goal in life. After reflecting on the terrible situation I realized that
there is nothing for me to do, then to be thankful. I am very blessed and thankful that
where I live today is very advanced in protecting America, which nothing like this could
happen. Although, it was very sad and heart breaking to hear about the situation of the
mother and daughter, I am very thankful that I am not in that horrible situation.

Summary: Russia had clearly stated that any use of force in the Eastern part of Ukraine
could cause a civil war. Ukraines leader, still tries to have control over the Moscow
uprisings in 3 cities. There were many conflicting reports about the Pro-Russian
demonstrators who completely took control of a security service of a Ukraine business
building and held people hostages. This risky decision of those who invaded Ukraine
could be considered force, but the consequence has not been decided yet by those in the
Ukraine. Even when we thought nothing would get worse, it did. The invaders in the
building claimed they took no hostages, as seen in Reuters reports. However, Russian
demonstrators made it very clear that they say the hostages. They said that 51 or more
people were released from the building on Wednesday. This proof is bad for the
criminals due to the fact that, they had lied when they said they held no people hostage.
Also, the security service claimed the Russian criminals of placing bombs all over the
building. Russians foreign ministry is now claiming that Ukraine authorities are now
cracking down on this situation, and doing something serious.
Reaction: While reading this article I was in shock that something like this is happening
however, I feel that the Ukraine is easily set up by the nations around them. It was made
very clear that there will be a civil war if forces were used against them and in fact, there
was force used! The fact that the pro Russians had the nerve to possibly break into a
building and plant bombs is just ridiculous, and pointless! In my opinion I think that
Ukraine should have the power, in the result of the situation if the civil war is to be
stopped, in anyway. Although, the criminals claimed they did not hold anyone hostage
there is proof. Due to this, I think there should be help and power for the Ukraine.
