Obama Care
The health care bill has passed and will go into effect in the following years making it a
top story all over media. It will not only benefit people in need but also many Americans will
qualify in comparison to individual health cares in the past that had a lot of exceptions with their
health plan. People tend to seek clarity and information about the health care law by asking their
physicians, but the reality is that a lot of doctors are all falling for the same ideological myths as
the general public. Obama Care contains many benefits, especially for low and middle income
families and businesses but it also contains some obstacles for high earners and those who dont
insure their employees and different sectors of the health industry. Many Americans want all the
benefits there are but even though the cost may go up, the quality will be much improved.
Regardless of all the benefits and rewards this health plan has to offer, Americans should have
the basic human right to choose whether to be obligated to benefit from Obama Care or rather
pay the penalty charge according to their social status and keep their doctor with the health plan
they have had for years.
Obama care was already apposed way before citizens consent. In 2009, President Obama
promised Obama Care would lower the costs for families but despite all the promises granted by
this health care law, family health insurance premiums rose nine percent by 2011 which caused

employers to expect continued increases stayed by (National Republican Congressional

Committee). In 2011, the House Republicans and pharmaceutical lobbyists were meeting in
secret with Democrats to pass Obama care in exchange for special deals from the Obama
Administration sated by the (National Republican Congressional Committee). Democrats have
faced angry concerned citizens with much displeasure towards the direction that the health care
legislation is taking. Truthfully, every bill has to pass in order for all Americans to understand
what it truly contains and the changes it will grant to all citizens. Unfortunately, Americans dont
have the resources to inform themselves and read the thousand page reforms to understand it
fluently causing chaos and controversies with a government that cannot be trusted.
Tens of millions of uninsured will get access to affordable quality health insurance
through the marketplace. Citizens will be able to get great quality service for the amount cost
paid for their medical needs and expenses. Citizens living in the United States dont have to
worry about their social status since the Obama care will cover over half of uninsured Americans
at free or low cost health insurance while using ones State's Health Insurance Marketplace. The
great advantage of getting insured is that citizens wont have to fear anymore for getting ill or
injured due to the coverage being granted without any rejection concerns from hospitals and
clinics. Citizens will not get neglected wherever they get treated regardless of their social status.
Patients will reserve great service anywhere they get attended. A very big plus thats being
granted by Obama Care is the fact that over half of uninsured Americans can get free or low cost
health insurance using their State's Health Insurance Marketplace. The states marketplace allows
you to apply for federally subsidized insurance and helps all citizens to find out if individuals
qualification to qualify for the best insurance affordable according to the citizens status as stated
by the (American Blue Cross). No matter what plan citizens get, all Americans will pay the same

premium as broker fees are paid by the insurance companies as each state controls the insurance
prices and cost.
Medicaid has expanded up to 15.9 million men, women, and children below 138% of the
poverty level. This has been a great accomplishment and a great opportunity to all citizens to be
covered by an insurance making all the citizens feeling equal and medically protected by law.
Citizens in the poverty level where not getting the support they have been fighting for due to the
limited resources to be able to pay off their medical expenses but know the Obama care has
promised all citizens the opportunity to pay for affordable health care. Not only grown-ups will
get insured but the CHIP has also expanded to cover up to nine million children across America
stated by the (American Blue Cross). This has not only gained public favoritism but arose many
from the poverty level to become healthier and feel safe. Not only will they get insured for a
regular doctors visit once in a while but the amount being paid for this health care plan will also
cover for numerous of protections and benefits to all Americans. Additional benefits range from
assisting pre-existing conditions to expanding health services due to the high quality of this
health insurance.
One of the most scares factors to all citizens is the fear of being dropped from the health
care plan due to an honest mistake or severe injury. The truth is no citizen will be neglected nor
cannot be dropped from coverage when sick or make an honest mistake on the application. Never
will anyone be denied coverage or treatment for being sick or charged more for being sick. This
health plan will treat everyone equally and everyone will be charged the dame regardless of sex.
Another main concern that Americans have is the fear of this health plan to interfere with their
businesses. Truth is small businesses can get tax credits for up to fifty percent of their
employees health insurance premium costs, so in reality everyone will gain thought this health

plan. Not only will businesses gain assistance but all citizens will be covered and be promised a
safe environment to work in and make a living off of.
Many medical insurance companies have age limits regarding the state of independence
or dependence in the family. With the Obama care, young adults can stay on their parents plan
until the age of twenty six and eighty two percent of uninsured adults will qualify for free or low
cost insurance. This way citizen wont have to worry about the age limit and the elderly can
benefit from assistance according to their needs. Medicare has also been improved for seniors
keeping rates down and expanding free preventive services as they are recognized to not be able
to work and provide for themselves as other citizens can. This will provide assistance to the
mostly needed and equal assistance to others who are in the same table social sate.
Furthermore, all coverage starting after 2014 will include new preventative services and
essential health benefits applying to all citizens. This will lead to reduction in growth for
healthcare spending making it affordable to every American citizen. The Obama care is full of
benefits. No matter what your social standing is or any personal concerns citizens may have, the
Obama Care makes it affordable to everyone who takes advantage of it by only being charged
the reasonable about for excellent health care coverage all over America. The Obama Care
realizes Some citizens are comfortable with their own insurance and wants to make sure every
American has a health plan they are comfortable with thats why on great factor of this health
plan is that it insures citizens to keep their insurance. Citizens can keep their insurance if it
existed before March 23, 2010 in which it will grandfathered in. There are many different
options and opportunities for all Citizens of America, by choosing the one that bets first the
individual needs and status, everyone will be able to be covered and not left out.

The Obama care promises to all citizens the ability to get access to affordable health care
when in reality this action is only guaranteeing more new taxes mostly taxing the high-earned
affecting directly to citizens that are individual and or employer mandate. While Americans are
being told they can use their States Health Insured Marketplace, the individual mandate obtains
health coverage by January 2014 making citizens pay a fee if the citizens cant afford it stated by
the (Anthem Blue Cross). The media will only indicate all positive aspects to hook all Americans
to be persuaded to apply for the health care and never do the citizens find out about the reality of
the truth.
The Medicaid is expanded using Federal and State Funding. While all the applicants are
being told that Medicaid will expand up to 15.9 million men and women and children below
138% of the poverty level leaving out the aspect that not all Sates have to expand Medicaid as an
obligation. It is up to the state to ether expand it or not. This has become the greatest catch to
many citizens living in certain states. The CHIP will expand to cover nine million children which
is such an great aspect towards them but truthfully the CHIP also uses Federal and state funding
leading the US into more in depth trying to fund themselves with money that the US really
doesnt have leaving out other aspect out and only focusing on getting funded for the health care.
The government will always try to enhance its production leaving out all truths out to make all
Americans believe all their sugarcoating.
Americans are being hooked in the way they cannot be dropped from coverage when
citizens get seriously ill or have made an honest mistake on their application. This sounds very
fantastic but the truth behind that promise is how insurance companies must cover sick people
which increased the cost of everyones insurance. This health plan has a chain reaction applying
to all Americans regardless of their social status. As well as the tax credits granting businesses

with a fifty percent credit for their employers health insurance premium cost, in 2015 businesses
with over the equivalent of fifty full time employees must be provided with health coverage. This
has created cuts on employee hours sated by the (employer mandate). It all has its benefits but
behind each benefit there is always a catch that nobody truly is aware of. One of the main
reasons why not all the citizens are aware of this is due to the government and health companies
not giving away the complete truth so Americans can be fooled into believing their tricks.
The main aspect that Americans love about this new health plan is the fact that young
adults can stay on their parents plan until the age of twenty-six. This aspect sounds great but did
all citizens truly consider the fact that young people tend to be healthier and not need coverage as
often as older Americans. This is another great catch to the health plan. Health care agencies are
very tricky and smart about how to make money off of the Americans. Having expanded the
young adult age span will only grant the health care companies with millions of dollars just
slipping always from our hard working labored hands. Seniors in American really want a great
affordable health plan that they can afford and be treated professionally for the amount of money
they pay. While all senior Americans have been informed that the health care rates will be kept
down and expand fee preventive services, is only limiting Medicare payments to doctors and
hospitals sated by the (employer mandate). This is also a cause of a chain effect. The lower the
price of Medicare to patients only decreases the doctors cost to prepare their carriers and provide
the essential tools and services to their patients are minimizing and becoming harder to access as
there is no money nor funds .
Believe it or not, insurance premiums have increased due to the insurance having to
provide covered services to all citizens. Citizens want all essential health services there is to offer
but again, citizens are not fully informed about the connotation of the amount it will coat to

provide full coverage. Many Americans put into thought that they wont really consider the
amount they will pay as long as they are covered but truthfully, the Obama care focuses more on
making sure Citizens are covered than they do on addressing the cost of care in the first place.
Who knows, maybe this year the Obama care will be one price but in the future, it may increases
and coverage wont be as essential as they make it seem for the first year. As the Obama cares
goal was to hook all citizens and make it a mandate to have the Obama care, their first intention
was to get everyone under their arm but maybe in the future, the health care companies and the
government will overthrow the citizens with something completely different than what
Americans sighed up for.
Obama and the American government make this healthcare sound so great. This
healthcare is going to change everything and going to turn this country around. Why Obama and
the American congress are exempt from the healthcare? Why wouldn't Obama and the congress
want to accept this wonderful health care? Maybe because it isn't as great as they portrayed it. I
wonder how many things are hidden and how many untruthful things are across this bill. I just
completely disagree with the fact that all citizens are being forced to pay for healthcare that
doesnt even cover for all illnesses or injuries. The government has been making all Americans
believes they are the God of society and the all mighty when truthfully they are tearing
Americans life apart.
The main advantage of the Affordable Care Act is that it lowers health care costs overall
by making insurance affordable for more people. That's because insurance will be extended.
First, it will include many younger citizens who are healthier. This lowers costs overall because
younger citizens will pay premiums, but won't use as many services. Second, insurance will
become available to people who now use expensive hospital emergency room treatments instead

of going to a primary care physician. This lowers costs because they will have their conditions
treated before the expensive critical stage. The main disadvantage is that the Act could increase
health care costs over the short term. Most of the disadvantages are accruing to those individuals
and businesses that are paying higher taxes. In addition, workers could lose their existing,
company-sponsored health insurance if their company finds it more cost-effective to let them
buy it on their own and pay the penalty. (Source: CBO, 2009 Study on Preventive Health Care,
August 7, 2009). After extensive research, I am strongly against the Obama care.
